Hi I have downloaded Kalyway 10.5.1 and I am stuck at apple logo….
If a press F8 and then -v, scrolling text and than it reboots…
If I type cpus=1 I get apple logo and spinning circle but that is it….

any ideas anyone….

You must boot of cd by setting boot order in BIOS

i have a problem. i have downloaded the kalyway10.5.2 intel amd dvd and i burned it but when i restarded my computer so that i could install it. it doesnt find any software to boot. it goes directly to windows vista.

i got a problem to with my disks, when os x ask me where i want to instal it, i only see the disc of the jas os x, and not c, and the other harddriver.

plz help me.

could be an issue with SATA drives i have a desktop running 2 SATA drives and an SATA dvd drive it gave me the same problem then i unplugged the SATA hard drives and still same problem finaly i hooked up a ide dvd drive and an ide hard drive and yay it worked… there was another bump i came across and it had to do with the ieee firewire interface or some thing so try disabling the firewire in the bios as well… good luck… still working on having my system boot properly without the disk and not having to re install every few hours… lol

my problem is that after I insert the DVD the darwin starts and then a white screen with Grey apple appears and it halts thr..

Here’s some interesting specs for you:

Intel Q9550
XFX nForce n790i
XFX GeForce 9800 GX2
4GB DDR3 Corsair RAM 1333MHz
2 SATA HDDs + 1 IDE

Any ideas what version would support my system? I’d be looking to multi boot OSX86 + XP + Vista (Vista being the main OS).

hiya i got the new mac os x on a legit mac cd but wen i put it in my pc, it dont load. i got xp i woud love mac on it. so with a legit mac cd, how can this be done?

hi i just got kalway .10_5_2_intel_amd and tried to install mac on my hp laptop.
the problem is wen it reaches “where do u want to install mac?”, it only shows e:drive and not my c; and d; drives…wat could be the problem?
